The five hour energy drink is named accordingly -- it keeps you pumped up for 5 hours! What makes this drink so different from other energy drinks on the market is that it only comes in a small 2 oz bottle. This is because only a small amount is needed to obtain the same effect as with other larger energy drinks. The great advantages of this smaller sized bottle is that you can easily carry it with you everywhere and you can also drink it very quickly when you need to. The bottle is even resealable!

5 hour energy drink has a great taste as well -- very much like a fruit drink. But that’s not all: it has added to it a whole variety of healthy things such as vitamin B, amino acids and enzymes, but achieves its effect without needing the high levels of caffeine and sugar which other energy drinks contain. It also has vitamin C, plus Niacin (vitamin B3), vitamin B6, vitamin B12, Tiroxina (an amino acid which regulates mood in the brain) and Phenylalanine (another amino acid but this one helps you to stay awake, alert and reduces hunger). As with other energy drinks, 5 hour also contains Taurina, which has an overall effect on the cardiac and nervous systems.

180 Energy Drink

If you are keen to try five-hour, it is best to drink the whole bottle in one go to get the best results. Once it is opened it is recommended to discard it within 3 days. Children under 12 should not try the product at all! It’s also most likely not a good idea to combine it with other products or drinks which have caffeine in, as 5-hour energy drink has the equivalent of 1 cup of coffee’s caffeine. As you would expect there are plenty of flavors available such as orange, lemon lime and berry.

Another thing to bear in mind is that on drinking 5 hour energy drinks, you may feel a sensation of heat and a sort of rush -- this is due to the vitamin Niacin which increases the flow of blood to the skin.
